Art Gallery of WA
A short documentary piece about artist duo Yok and Sheryo’s 2023 exhibition Yeahnahnesia, presented at the Art Gallery of WA. The piece explores the origins of their meeting and collaboration, and the inspiration behind their fictive island nation Yeahnahnesia.
“It was great fun entering the creative world of Sheryo and Yok. Built from the ground up, I wanted to capture their imagination and playfulness in mashing together mythologies, styles and cultures. With a mixed media format, I was able to dive into the many sources of materials as well as give a nod to the street art and surf culture that is dear to them both in their practice.” LL
